EXAMPLE 1 : WASTE

Since the beginning of the 2010 decade, waste accumulation has become one of the problems faced by Indonesian society. Waste that is not managed properly and properly is piled up, causing environmental pollution and natural disasters, such as floods and landslides.

Based on data from the Ministry of Environment and Forestry (KLHK) of the Republic of Indonesia, in 2023 there will be 18.3 million tons of waste buried in Indonesia every year. This also makes Indonesia the fifth largest waste producing country in the world.

It is not without reason that this waste accumulation occurs due to the lack of good and correct waste management in Indonesia. Apart from that, there are still many Indonesian people who are not disciplined regarding environmental cleanliness. There are still many people who throw rubbish carelessly or cut down forests and trees illegally.

Therefore, the best solution to overcome the problem of waste accumulation is the establishment of strict regulations and laws regarding waste management, as well as strict sanctions for people who violate these laws and regulations.

It's not too late for us to start cleaner and healthier habits by managing waste properly and correctly. That way, waste accumulation in Indonesia will no longer happen.

EXAMPLE 2: EDUCATION

Education in Indonesia today is still behind education from other countries in the world. In fact, Indonesia is still inferior to neighboring countries, such as Malaysia and Singapore, in the field of education.

This can be seen from the large number of residents who have received education up to tertiary institutions. Meanwhile in Indonesia, the number of people who receive education is still far behind other countries, especially in underdeveloped places such as NTB, NTT, Papua, and many other places.

The lack of education in these places is due to the unequal distribution of education in Indonesia. The government only builds educational facilities in urban areas, especially on the island of Java.

Not only that, the limited number of teachers in these places also contributes to the increasingly remote access to education in disadvantaged places.

So, education in Indonesia is actually increasingly unequal and tends to lag behind so that it is not able to compete with other countries in the world.
